How to Win tech jobs on LinkedIn
near-perfect way to secure tech jobs from LinkedIn DMs
I shared this LinkedIn messaging framework from the RICH IN TECH PREMIUM COMMUNITY on my free community yesterday.
… because one of our free members asked how to win jobs on LinkedIn.
It is a 5-step framework to winning that dream job either in tech or any other industry
Here are some of the frameworks I shared:
Personalised Connection Request
Start by sending a connection request with a brief, personalized message.
Mention the job title and reference the application, but keep it concise and professional.
Example Message: "Hi [Recruiter's Name], I recently applied for the [Job Title] role at [Company Name] and wanted to express my interest. I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute and would love to connect. Looking forward to the possibility of working together!"
2. Follow-Up Message After Connection
Once they accept your connection request, follow up with a more detailed message to engage them further.
Example Follow-Up: "Hi [Recruiter's Name], thanks for connecting! I wanted to follow up regarding my application for the [Job Title] role at [Company Name]. I’m particularly drawn to [specific aspect of the company or role], and I believe my background in [mention relevant experience or skills] would make me a strong fit. I’d be grateful for any insights you could share about the hiring process or how I can best position myself for the role. Thanks for your time!"
3. Demonstrate Value
Highlight how your skills align with the company's needs, but keep it concise. Recruiters receive many messages, so being clear and to the point is essential.
Example: "I noticed that [Company Name] is expanding into [specific area], and I have experience in [related skill or industry]. I’d love to contribute to that growth."
I don’t want this email to be too long, so;
You see, if you are not yet in my free community, you are missing out big time.
Because you might continue to lose the tips I share in my community based on the questions asked by the community members,
With the opportunity to network with others already winning in the community.
So if you don’t want to be left behind, join now before it is too late.
Yours truly,
Mr.Illseeyouathetop
